COURSE MAPS

HERE WE GO! FINAL MAPS ARE POSTED BELOW.

You probably already reviewed the maps and plotted your strategy and think you got it all figured out… CHECK THIS OUT: What ever you knew from before now doesn’t exist! We have created a brand new set of maps with a whole different routes (well the heart and soul of the relay course still remains the same). So study up you crazy, pain loving endurance athletes. Don’t expect this course to be easy. Bad ass and beautiful is what we are going for this year.

Why in the world would you change the course maps, one week before the event?! Are you crazy?”

You may be asking that question about now. We were really pumped for the original routes with all the suffering and bonus loops into Boonville and the mash up with the marathon and long distance on the same back gravel roads, but alas things were not meant to be. Due to the I-70 bridge construction project MODOT is repairing all the bridges in the surrounding area (so they can be used for a crazy interstate detour soon). It was just announced that the bridge next to the Stompn Grounds is scheduled to be shut down THIS FRIDAY. The same bridge that the original run started and finished across. Since the run is Saturday morning, we aren’t taking any chances and are using our back up route (which is equally as awesome) for this year. We are a little bummed that it will be a lot of out and back on the Katy Trail vs the big loops that we had in mind but this course should be about perfect for the inaugural Mighty Missouri Relay!

All routes start and finish at the Stomp’n Grounds! - 420 North Roby Farm Road, Rocheport MO

Relay Distances and Options!
Below is a list of the “suggested” relay distances and relay stations. This event will be chipped timed but is not designed as a competitive event against other participants. Therefore if relay team members want to run multiple sections of the long courses or shorter versions that is totally an option. It’s your adventure. You can choose it and challenge yourself the best way you feel fit. This course is long, hilly, hot and hard. It’s also gorgeous and an awesome challenge! So enjoy it your way!
